King Abdullah stated:

“Let each of us carry his responsibility and play his role for empowering this Foundation, which is not exclusive to anyone, but a partnership between all of us citizens without exception.”

In these words, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of King Abdul Aziz & his Companions Foundation, expressed the nature of this Foundation and its objectives to encourage the gifted and to develop their talents.

On the eve of announcing the establishment of the Foundation whose name he selected himself, added: “Mawhiba without the attention of its family, is like a little plant without care or watering, neither religion or rational accepts that we should disregard it or ignore it, that is why it is the duty of all of us to look after our plants and increase our attentions to looking after it so it will grow strong and provide us with its shade and benefits,ones of large importance and much needed for our future,in the age of innovation, to develop creativity, and implement it to serve our religion and nation.”
